What’s So Interesting About Adam’s Calendar? Part 2

Adam’s Calendar is an unusual place. There are a myriad of stone circular walls in the nearby town of Waterval Boven, but this stone circle stands alone on the edge of the Great Escarpment. Why?

Level 3 may provide an answer. This level is not always evident, but in the case of Adam’s Calendar, it’s remarkably clear and relates to gold and the Occipital Lobe … again! The Occipital Lobe was identified in Level 1 (see Part 1 of this article) and along with the Pituitary Gland subconscious energy working through the Third Eye Chakra in Level 2, suggests that vision of an extraordinary kind is stimulated at Adam’s Calendar. That this stone circle is built on gold bearing Black Reef Quartzite, reiterates this idea. Gold, from an Earthbody perspective, is always about Golden Consciousness and the raising of awareness. Vision and consciousness work hand in hand – See more-Be more.

Do Levels 4 and 5 support this view?

If anything, these levels challenge our beliefs about how things should appear. These are deep and mysterious realms that require us to see beyond facades.

Level 4 is where we’re introduced to Sapphire Tablet 100 and the unconscious energy at Adam’s Calendar that’s an obstacle retarding our development.1 To re-iterate: we’re attracted to sites like Adam’s Calendar, because the issues identified there, are issues that affect us too, even though we may not recognise them. Like attracts like. These sites act as catalysts in our healing and growth.

At first glance, the obstacle appears odd: Excessive neediness or emotional dependency resulting from neglect by a caregiver or care that is overbearing and smothering. The consequences: our inability to express appropriate feelings and control our emotions; emotional dissatisfaction and dependency.

Of the 169 Sapphire Tablets, Sapphire Tablet 100 is the only tablet containing a diamond and ankh symbol. Don’t be fooled by the frivolous appearance of these tablets. Still waters run much deeper than what the eye perceives.2  Symbolists will immediately recognise the significance of the diamond given what we’ve learnt so far through the grid levels. Diamond facilitates the shattering of illusions. It’s associated with brilliance, perfection and truth in all its facets. It promotes pristine love, alignment with the higher mind, power and authority. With right intent, diamond is a perfect tool to wear/use at Adam’s Calendar to clear this unconscious obstacle within us.

In Egyptian hieroglyphics, ankh translates as ‘life’ and ‘hand-mirror’.3  As ‘life’, the ankh is a symbol of the breath of life and eternal life and its key-like shape is the means by which to access that immortality. Given the emphasis on ‘seeing’ at Adam’s Calendar, the hand mirror symbol is not out of place. A hand mirror is generally held near the face for close up viewing. The ankh associated with Adam’s Calendar, offers us the same thing - a close up view of ourselves.

Ancient Egyptian symbols are prevalent in the Earthbody work, but what’s particularly fascinating is how many are associated with Adam’s Calendar.4  The ankh is especially interesting given Tellinger’s latest theories on resonance.5

Sapphire Tablet processes are complex and beyond the scope of this article. Suffice it to say that engaging with Tablet 100, and its inbuilt symbol, diamond, ankh and all the colours and shapes comprising its form, initiates the process of release of the obstacle. The bottom line is this: we’re adults and we must behave accordingly. With power comes responsibility. We cannot cope with life’s challenges or embrace its gifts if we’re fearful of expressing ourselves, or if we’re emotionally dependent and wallowing in victimhood. Adam’s Calendar’s potential is only realisable for us, once this obstacle is cleared.

Level 5 of the Eyemap grid re-iterates this theme through the Crystal Tablets.6 The Crystal Tablets like the Sapphire Tablets are quirky and unusual. They are nonetheless, ‘bearers’ of great insights and wisdom. Crystal Tablet 28 is Leon, and he bears the gift of courage for all Adam’s Calendar pilgrims.7  His lesson for us is that we have to ‘be it, to become it’- we have to live courageously in order to assume the gift of courage.

And what would make us courageous?

Truth. Why? Because we cannot keep quiet when we know the truth. We are forced out of the shadows of our lives.

Leon is archetypally linked to the constellation of Ursa Major, the Great Bear. What do we learn through the myths and legends associated with this constellation that we could apply to our lives in the present moment?

Because of its proximity to the North Pole, ancient travellers used Ursa Major for navigation. The Iroquois and Micmac Indians have a fantastic legend concerning this constellation’s cyclical movement: In the spring when the bear leaves its den, seven hunters chase it. The bear evades them all through summer. By the time autumn has arrived, the four furthest hunters have abandoned the hunt. The remaining three hunters finally manage to kill the bear after which they cook and feast upon its flesh. The bear’s skeleton is all that remains; it lies on its back throughout the winter discarded and bare. As winter comes to an end, the bear is rebirthed and the hunt is renewed with the arrival of spring.8

What do we make of this story?

Truth is what forces us out of our caves and chases us across the sky. The seven hunters are our guides and Guardian Angels relentlessly pushing us forward.9  Their presence varies according to what we require as we move through the seasons of our lives.

From an esoteric perspective, the seven hunters represent the seven veils and seven chakras that need to be penetrated to reach our core, with the Great Bear being our ‘central truth’. Seven chakras become three with mastery. Killing the bear in autumn signifies completion of what we set out to do. The cooking and eating of the bear is an ancient ritual. Consumption internalizes the power of the bear. This may come across as ‘barbaric’ but it is a common practice even in our current times. The Vietnamese for example, make snake wine; the more venomous the snake, the more it is prized. The wine drinker is said to assume the snake’s essence and potency. This same ritual is practiced in the Christian tradition. It is called Holy Communion.

For my flesh is meat indeed, and my blood is drink indeed. He that eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, dwelleth in me, and I in him.” John 6:55-56; King James Bible

Winter is our time for rest and renewal. It’s a time for reflection where truths are revealed. When spring returns they make their ‘debut’ in the ‘old favourite melody’ - the ‘song of courage’.10

All levels of the Eyemap grid at Adam’s Calendar point to it being an exceptional location. Visiting this site is an initiation and life-changing experience. Like a ‘return to Eden’, we’re gifted with the clarity of vision, Truth, God-given knowledge, deep-seated healing and the courage to step out of our comfort zones and into our lives navigating them with confidence.

Seeing more - Knowing more - Being more – Living more.

Adam’s Calendar is truly a special place.
