Here is my story:
I noticed that I had picked up an alarming amount of weight over a short period of time and following a series of blood tests was diagnosed with hypothyroidism and prescribed thyroid medication. Five years later, this treatment was queried by my flight doctor and on his advice I changed to another prescription. It was a correct decision, but not an easy switch. I became severely hypothyroid with a TSH over 100. Restoring hormone levels was and still is challenging. Despite feeling awful, I continued to work and travel during that time but I noticed something interesting about being in certain places. I felt better and slept deeply ... very deeply, which was very unusual for me. On a whim, I decided to plot these locations and discovered that they were all in the thyroid. Wow! Having worked with the Earthbody Eyemap for many years I suppose I should not have been surprised. It was hard not to be though. My home was not in the thyroid, but I needed thyroid support and ‘life circumstances and invisible hands’ had ensured that I travelled to locations that would provide the necessary assistance.
We are attracted to places in order to fulfill needs that cannot be realized in our home environments. Outside of our 'complacent comfort zones' we feel different and see otherwise, we learn new things and realize more about others, we heal misconceptions we might have about ourselves and above all, we’re inspired by our newfound experiences and opportunities that we're offered to take action that effects positive change in our lives.
